We are seeking a highly motivated and driven plant operator for our dairy site. This opportunity is best suited for an individual who has an interest in Renewable Energy and Sustainability.

This individual would be responsible for running and maintaining the RNG equipment, agricultural digesters, and nutrient concentration system, ensuring the farm has a constant supply of gas. A farm background is preferred but not required. The successful candidate must be safety conscious and possess a mechanical/electrical background. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be communicating with transport companies to ensure all pick-up loads stay on schedule as well as with our Farm Partners. This position does require the operator to be on call and they must work well independently with little supervision.

Additional job duties include:

  • Maintaining gas cleaning and gas compression equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance per supplied schedule
  • Taking daily readings with the ability to adjust as needed
  • Maintaining overall site cleanliness
  • Complete and follow job hazard analysis

    We are seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer with a specialty in agriculture. The successful candidate must be initiative-taking, technology agnostic, and possess exceptional organizational skills and time management to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. As an Engineer in Training, you will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior engineer. You should be able to evaluate, select, specify, and engineer systems or products for a project. This opportunity is best suited for an individual who has an interest in Renewable Energy and Sustainability as work focuses around renewable energy projects on dairy farms.

    Requirements:

    • 0 – 5 Years of Relative Work Experience, Working toward Licensure
    • Proficient experience With AutoCAD Civil 3D and competent experience with typical storm water engineering design software, civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards
    • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to analyze maps, surveys and drawings carefully and operate GPS stick and Total Station.
    • Basic understanding of engineering documentation with ability to prepare / revise documentation in various project phases including site plans, utility plans, roadway layouts, stormwater systems and other construction components
    • Perform field work including site evaluations, surveying, construction oversight and inspections
    • Conduct onsite visits during the design development process
    • Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants
    • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications
